The debug log from the remote server will show the

Could not listen on protocol IPv4, port #####: An error occurred while listening
on a socket: Error Code: 10013, System Error Message: An attempt was made to
access a socket in a way forbidden by its access
permissions.
The port for
Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) that Backup Exec uses is being shared by
another application on the remote server.
Solution:
Change the NDMP port to
something other than 10000 which is the default port on all servers that are
being backed up by Backup Exec. Refer to the Related Documents section for more
information on changing the NDMP port used by the BE Remote Agent.
