NetBackup Version 3.2 Device Support List for ADIC Hardware
The device support information for NetBackup Version 3.2 hardware is listed below. If ADIC has both drives and libraries which are supported by this product, that information will be broken into two separate tables: a libraries table and a drives table each detailing different support information including operating system support, firmware levels and patch requirements. To ensure support, a device (both drive and library where applicable) must be supported by VERITAS, the device manufacturer, and the Operating System vendor.

The Firmware Tested column shows the most recent version tested by VERITAS. Newer versions are not always tested because vendors notify us when changes affect NetBackup, however, newer versions are supported. It may be necessary to downgrade the device firmware to ensure proper operation while an issue is resolved.

ADIC Users:
If you are uncertain of which model a library is, use the following URL to determine the model number from the part number:
http://www.adic.com/adicProductShell.jsp?minisite=10000&respid=22372&Page=us/collateral/productsDriveComparison.jsp§ion=10058

NOTE: ALL libraries and drives are SCSI versions unless otherwise noted with an FC which indicates Fibre Channel.

NOTE: This library listing is for ROBOTIC support ONLY, not drive support. Click here to determine the OS platforms on which the robot type is supported. You MUST also verify that the specific drive used in the library is supported on the specific OS platform(s) you plan to use.
